Welcome to Sammy's Italian Restaurant, a family-owned eatery dedicated to serving authentic Italian cuisine that has captured the hearts of food lovers nationwide. Mastering Dough and Sauce with Family Traditions
Sammy’s passion for authentic Italian cuisine started in Italy’s countryside, where he learned traditional cooking from local artisans and grew up picking olives. Inspired by Italy’s fresh ingredients like extra virgin olive oil and herbs, he moved to New York City, embracing its diverse culinary scene for 24 years. In 1994, during a visit to Ocala, Florida, Sammy decided this was the perfect place to open his first authentic Italian restaurant.
Bringing Italian Warmth to Wildwood and Villages
Twenty years later, our family expanded by opening a second Sammy's Italian Restaurant to serve the Wildwood and The Villages areas. We sincerely thank our loyal customers for supporting our journey and helping us bring authentic Italian cuisine and traditional flavors to Florida communities.
